From scratch, with love
Sunny opened her diner in 2016 with one simple idea: serve guests the same lovingly made food she cooked for her own family. What started as a single neighborhood spot has grown to three locations — and that founding idea still drives everything we do.
Food made for family
Sunny didn't want to open just another breakfast spot — she wanted a place where every guest felt like she'd cooked for them personally. That spirit of genuine, home-kitchen care is still the reason people drive across town for a table.
The scratch bakery
Every loaf — white, wheat, sourdough, sourdough rye — starts with a traditional starter and real butter. The Ginormous Cinnamon Roll, French toast loaf, hamburger buns, and biscuits are all baked in-house daily.
One diner becomes three
Regulars kept coming back, and word spread fast enough that a second location — then a third — became inevitable. Today you'll find Sunny's in Happy Valley, Vancouver, and Tualatin, each one carrying the same from-scratch promise as the original.
